Welcome

Our Work

We believe the future of our community lies in our classrooms and in ensuring that all of our children receive the best possible education. To this end, the Lambertville Area Education Foundation was created in 1992, with the goal of generating resources to enhance the educational experiences of our students and to increase community involvement in our public schools. Independent, not-for-profit and run solely by volunteers, LAEF today supports numerous innovative programs in math, science, technology, literature and the arts at Lambertville Public School, Stockton Borough School, West Amwell Township Elementary School, and South Hunterdon Regional High School. Since its inception, the Foundation has contributed almost $250,000.00 in teacher-initiated grants that have gone directly to fostering creativity and promoting excellence in our community’s classrooms.

Our Mission

The Lambertville Area Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization established to secure resources for innovative programs that enhance the educational experiences of students, support the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of education, and build community involvement in the Lambertville Public School, Stockton Borough School, West Amwell Township Elementary School, and South Hunterdon Regional High School.

TOGETHER WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF LOCAL STUDENTS

Last school year, with the help of local businesses and community members we raised over $30,000 to support exciting and innovative programs for local students!  Let's build on that together!  While we continue to need your personal support, we are also seeking corporate sponsors for our 11th Annual Auction Benefit which will be held on March 24, 2012.  Many corporations have charity funds that they use to support important causes that are near and dear to the hearts of their associates.  Please take the time to inquire if your organization might be in a position to support the LAEF.  For more information and supporting literature, please contact Julie Proulx:  djproulx1@comcast.net or email our general mailbox:  laef4kids@yahoo.com
