How to Help
The success of the Lambertville Area Education Foundation is a direct result of the generosity of the community that supports us. The two primary ways to help the LAEF are through a gift of money or a donation of in-kind services. If you are interested in contributing or would like more information, please complete our
contact us form and an LAEF board member will be in touch soon.
Financial Help
Many individuals choose to support the LAEF with a financial donation. Although donations are accepted year-round, most are received through our Friends of the LAEF direct mail fund-raising campaign which occurs every year in early November. Some are considering Legacy Giving as a way of sustaining a financial contribution over time. Our recent contributors are listed in this section.
In-Kind Services
A number of community members contribute by donating their time, expertise and muscle for any of the many LAEF activities that occur throughout the academic year. These include:
- Lending a hand with program activities that the Foundation has funded in which students are participating, such as plays, class trips and assemblies; Offering to come into a classroom and allowing students and faculty to access your particular area of expertise in history, science, art, photography, etc.
- Offering a service such as carpentry or color consulting to be auctioned at our annual Spring fund-raising event or donating a work of art, a piece of furniture, a dinner out or perhaps even a use of a time-share in a pleasant vacation spot.
- Last but not least is the value of our collective community muscle. Setting-up and taking down our auction and wine tasting events is a lot of work. Thankfully we have always been able to count on our friends to lift, carry, set-up, and decorate. It's a great equalizer where firefighter and doctor, CPA and carpenter, housewife and corporate executive all roll-up their sleeves on behalf of the kids.
