Our Work

We believe the future of our community lies in our classrooms and in ensuring that all of our children receive the best possible education. To this end, the Lambertville Area Education Foundation was created in 1992, with the goal of generating resources to enhance the educational experiences of our students and to increase community involvement in our public schools. Independent, not-for-profit and run solely by volunteers, LAEF today supports numerous innovative programs in math, science, technology, literature and the arts at Lambertville Public School, Stockton Borough School, West Amwell Township Elementary School, and South Hunterdon Regional High School. Since its inception, the Foundation has contributed almost $250,000.00 in teacher-initiated grants that have gone directly to fostering creativity and promoting excellence in our community’s classrooms.

Our Mission

The Lambertville Area Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization established to secure resources for innovative programs that enhance the educational experiences of students, support the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of education, and build community involvement in the Lambertville Public School, Stockton Borough School, West Amwell Township Elementary School, and South Hunterdon Regional High School.
 

LAEF 9th Annual Auction Benefit

9th Annual Auction Benefit Party to be held on March 27, 2010 at the Eagle Firehouse in New Hope.  Silent auction, spirited live auction with beautiful artwork from local artists, and other impressive donations for our local establishments make this a night to remember in support of the children of our school communities.
