Our Work

We believe the future of our community lies in our classrooms and in ensuring that all of our children receive the best possible education. To this end, the Lambertville Area Education Foundation was created in 1992, with the goal of generating resources to enhance the educational experiences of our students and to increase community involvement in our public schools. Independent, not-for-profit and run solely by volunteers, LAEF today supports numerous innovative programs in math, science, technology, literature and the arts at Lambertville Public School, Stockton Borough School, West Amwell Township Elementary School, and South Hunterdon Regional High School. Since its inception, the Foundation has contributed almost $250,000.00 in teacher-initiated grants that have gone directly to fostering creativity and promoting excellence in our community’s classrooms.

Our Mission

The Lambertville Area Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization established to secure resources for innovative programs that enhance the educational experiences of students, support the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of education, and build community involvement in the Lambertville Public School, Stockton Borough School, West Amwell Township Elementary School, and South Hunterdon Regional High School.
 

11th Annual Auction Benefit is Set!
March 24, 2012, Eagle Fire Banquet Hall in New Hope, 6:00 p.m. For tickerts, email: laef4kids@yahoo.com OR walk in to one of our auction ticket sale locations in Lambertville: Lambertville Trading Company, The Medicine Shoppe or Walkers Wine and Spirits. Tickets are $50 and include: horsD'oeuvres,, dinner and dessert prepared by our fine local restaurants, wine, beer and all the fun and excitement of our silent and live auctions. Some auction items we are excited to share: a one year family membership to Colonial Sportsmen's Club, a one week stay at an Orlando timeshare, getaways to Wildwood and Vermont, tickets to see the Dr. Oz show live, one week of tennis camp at Bucks Raquet Club, 4 tickets to a preseason Giant's game, the romantic Wing Damn Dinner, the Sneddons Fireworks picnic, as well as beautiful works by local artists: Tony LaSalle, Mike Mann, Vincent Ceglia, Collette Sexton, Eleanor Voorhees, Kathryn Hackyl, James Cascio, Irma Fuhr, Jerry Cable, Bill Claus and more to come...In addition, we are offering fine jewelry from local jewelers, gift certificates, goods and services from local businesses. BEST OF LIVE is back! We will be selling 100 chances to win the right to pull anything from the live auction block BEFORE it goes up for bidding! BEST OF LIVE tickets are $50 and the winner need not be present. Pictures and item descriptions will be emailed to all ticket purchasers in advance. Selections must be emailed back to LAEF by the afternoon of the event.
